To the touch, the device gives a good impression☺. Heavy object. All metal. Remarkable joints. Well thought-out, ultra-compact folding that fits in a pocket. Counterweight for overhanging positions. Software not very well done. The actions are not natural. For example, to rotate the image, you have to scroll through a list of functions, go to the line, select a rotation without any certainty that it's the right one. Then repeat the manoeuvre as many times as the number of rotations required... laborious.

This camera is plug and play, so there's no need to install anything - it runs directly under Windows. Using the native Windows Camera application, the camera can capture documents, take photos/videos, recognise barcodes/qrcodes, etc. The image is beautiful and well detailed, with a high-performance auto-focus. The camera is mounted on a 3-arm bracket and its base can be rotated, so you can position it to suit your needs. The camera also automatically rotates the image to place it in the right position. The edge recognition system works well on documents, but a contrasting background helps to define the edges. The camera also comes with ReadIris PDF business 365 software, which can be downloaded from the manufacturer's website and activated using the activation code supplied. It lets you edit PDFs and has an OCR function for recognising characters from an image.
